4 Days Wildlife Safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park takes you to the medley of wonders in western Uganda to encounter the big 4 game animals. Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of Uganda’s 10 savannah national parks famous for wildlife viewing during game drives, boat safaris, nature walks and many. The park is also known to host 4 or the 5 big game animals including the Lions, Leopards, Buffaloes and Elephants.
The park has the Kazinga channel where the boat safari takes place, and visitors get to see a variety of wildlife. While on the boat and you can’t miss out on the big mammals (Elephants and Buffaloes) feeding and relaxing in the water. The park receives the highest number of tourists among all parks in the country and one of the reasons is that the park has a special sector called Ishasha, and it’s the only place in Uganda where you find the tree climbing lions.
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up early and start you journey after having breakfast, driving through different towns heading to western Uganda. You will drive through the western route of fort portal and have lunch as you reach the city, and proceed to the park reaching early evening. On arrival, you will check in at your lodge and rest for the evening.

Day 2. Experiential Lion Tracking and afternoon Boat Safari
Wake up very early and head out for the morning game drive in “Kasenyi planes”. While there, you will interface with the predators under the guidance of a ranger guide who drive around the park with radiation trackers. These trackers help them to find lions that have radio collars placed around their necks. The lion tracking experience takes about 3 hours and you will have more than mammals to watch. These may include the elephants, African buffalos, Antelopes, Ugandan Kobs, hippopotamus, Topis, waterbuck, warthog, giant forest hog, spotted hyena, among many others.
later on, you will return to the lodge for breakfast, relaxation and later have lunch in the early afternoon. After lunch, you will head to Kazinga channel for a boat cruise. A boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel will offers you one of the greatest wildlife experiences in Africa and Uganda in particular. Expect to see some hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, water birds and many of the other park animals drinking from the channel as you enjoy the boat cruise. You will later return to the lodge with a short evening game drive as you end your day with a sunset view while resting at your accommodation.

Day 3: Ishasha Tree Climbing Lions and community walk
On this exciting day, wake up very early morning and head to the southern sector of the park called Ishasha. This sector is famous for the tree climbing lions as they rest in the trees after a hunt. This is the only place in Uganda where you can see these relaxed predators resting up in the tree branches. They do this due to the hot grounds and also escaping from the insects on the ground. Another reasons is because is observing their surrounding and the rest waiting for the sun to go down so that they can hunt down their daily meal.
After this amazing experience and return to the lodge for lunch, then later go for a community visit. While here, you will have a test of the hospitality of the people living in the area. You get to know about their life style and engage in some activities if you get time. You will then drive back to your lodge while capturing some pictures of the beautiful landscape and other wildlife species. Reaching at the lodge, you will relax and enjoy the ambiance of the place while viewing the game park from an angle.

4 Days Wildlife Safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Day 4: Transfer to Kampala via Masaka-Mbarara
Wake up at a delicious breakfast at your lodge and check out as you head for Mbarara. As you drive out of the park, you will encounter some animals on the way like Buffaloes, Elephants, antelopes, impalas among others.
After you will depart for Kampala with a stopover at the Equator at Kayabwe for lunch. Then proceed to Kampala arriving in the evening at your accommodation or to the airport for your departure
